VITA and VIRGINIA
Virginia Woolf meets fellow author Vita Sackville-West in London in the 1920s. They embark on a 20-year relationship that inspires one of Virginia's most famous novels, Orlando. Abridged by the cast from the original play by Eileen Atkins, Vita and Virginia deftly brings to life the real letters and diaries of the two women, revealing deep friendship, wit and passion between the literary genius and the aristocratic yet middle-brow poet.
“Emma Francis and Ruth Cattell smash it!”

SOAAR presents
Millie Manders
“High-octane, fierce, bursting with attitude and almost obnoxiously addictive" - Fortitude Magazine "If Kate Nash was actually any good, she'd probably sound like this" - Rock Sound "The world needs more ballsy female vocalists like this." - MOSH/Hit The Floor
Having started her musical journey at the tender age of five, London born Millie Manders has a rich background in classical, big band jazz and contemporary music ranging from punk to soul and back again, learning clarinet, saxophone, voice and ukulele.
Millie creates cross-genre punk that is hard to ignore. With lyricism that pokes fun, draws you in or leaves you questioning social norms teamed with incredible vocal dexterity, grinding guitars, irresistible horn hooks and a pumping rhythm section, the Millie Manders Music Machine churns out more raw punk fusion than you can shake a stick at, with a huge amount of Pop appeal.

IAN PROWSE
Prowse formed Pele in 1989 along with Dally (drums), Robbo (Hammond), Nico (violin) and Jim McCallister (bass).[5] Signed by Michael Levy, Baron Levy in March 1991 to M&G Records/Polydor, the band went on to release two studio albums (Fireworks & The Sport Of Kings), one live album and six singles. Pele's singles never reached the Top 40 in the UK Singles Chart, with it being often remarked that Pele sold more of their famous primary colour T-shirts than they did records.[citation needed] However they scored a number one single in South Africa with "Megalomania", and had other hits in Holland, Portugal and Belgium. After nine tours of the UK, including those with Del Amitri and The Pogues, they split in 1996 due to problems with the record company whose efforts to make Prowse record as a solo artist were resisted by the singer.[citation needed] Prowse celebrated the 25th anniversary of first album Fireworks with a UK tour in the early 2017 with a 25th anniversary of The Sport of Kings tour announced for 2018.
